HBO Max’s The Last of Us is widely regarded as one of the standout science fiction works of the past decade. Yet some fans might be surprised to learn that there’s an even more impressive sci-fi gem, one that, despite being largely underrated, arguably surpasses The Last of Us in storytelling, impact, and sheer visual spectacle.
