The world of Naruto quickly shifted from its initial ninja-themed premise to some of anime's deadliest fighters, openly fighting with abilities akin to those of demigods. Their mastery of chakra and multiple ninja disciplines results in a diverse roster of friends and foes with distinctive abilities. However, Naruto's main heroes are in a class of their own.
