28 Years Later: The Bone Temple's ending - while relatively hopeful on the surface and for its central characters - secretly holds the series' most horrifying ending, as becomes clear the longer you think about its implications. The Bone Temple is a fascinating addition to the 28 Days Later franchise and mythos - both because it's unusual in terms of being a spinoff of sorts, and because it explores the same world in a different light.
