A new version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is set to release in theaters this year to mark the franchise's 25th anniversary. Directed by Christopher Columbus, the first installment in Warner Bros.' $7.7 billion film franchise hit theaters on November 16, 2001.
