The 2026 One Chicago crossover is moving away from its winning formula for the first time since the franchise started. After several years of not doing any kind of its signature TV event, Dick Wolf's Windy City-set resurrected its signature specials in 2025. The three-way crossover allowed the universe to reset after a series of character departures and introductions, all while Chicago's finest save the city again from a major tragedy.
