Warning! Spoilers ahead for Will Trent season 4, episode 14, "A Flag in the Mud."ABC's Will Trent may be looking at saying goodbye to an original character after its action-packed episode. While the network doesn't have legacy procedurals such as CBS's NCIS and NBC's Law & Order: SVU, it has some of the most popular shows during the 2025-2026 TV cycle, which includes Ramón Rodríguez's Tuesday series. Based on Karin Slaughter's books, ABC has taken some creative liberties to make Will Trent more universally appealing, and so far, it's working.
