A recently released deleted scene for Goat provides a tragic backstory for its main comic relief character, giving one of the most whimsical movie characters of 2026 a secret more somber side to their story. Goat is very much a lighthearted action comedy throughout its story, with the rise of Will and the Vineland Thorns being a classic sports rags-to-riches narrative of an unlikely group learning to work together.
