Ormewood had a lot going on in Will Trent season 3, but that doesn't mean the show had to neglect one of his biggest stories, which is why it must return in season 4. Jake McLaughlin's character has had quite an arc in the series. Ormewood began as a quasi-villain. He was arrogant and ignorant, but now, he's a completely different man.
