Terrence Stamp, who played General Zod in Richard Donner's 1978 Superman film, Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, and who appeared in countless other projects, has passed away. The prolific actor was 87 years old and had been persistently active in Hollywood since as early as 1960.
