While still a couple of years away before a return to Berk, Mason Thames is already excitedly gearing up for How to Train Your Dragon 2. Thames became the new leading face of the fantasy adventure series with the 2025 live-action remake, starring as the awkward protagonist Hiccup as he discovers and befriends Toothless, a rare breed of dragon known as the Night Fury. Their friendship invokes a major change in Hiccup's Viking village, as they no longer look at the mythical creatures with distrust.
