Grey's Anatomy season 22 does not have a new episode tonight and ABC has a solid reason for not airing any. Shonda Rhimes' original hit series for the network has already had a busy year. For starters, it opened with the death of Natalie following the hospital's accidental bombing in the season 21 finale. Meanwhile, Maggie and Jackson returned for a guesting stint. Overall, the TV institution also celebrated its 450th episode, which also happened to pave the way for Amelia's temporary absence from Grey's Anatomy.
