My Favorite Game Of 2025 Didn't Even Come Out This Year

2025 was a huge year for games, whether you were checking out breakout titles like Clair Obscur and Blue Prince or diving into remakes or remasters (shoutouts to both Dragon Quest 1+2 HD-2D Remake and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4). It was a great year, and I had a ton of fun playing these games, but my favorite ended up being a multi-platform release from 2012.
