The iconic Clint Eastwood Western that made him a star was released in America in January 1967, but it almost didn't get released in the country at all. After a television career on the Western series Rawhide, Eastwood got a chance to star in Westerns on the big screen. However, he had demands that were met and resulted in The Man With No Name.
