The Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise has made $1.2 billion across its first three films, but Sonic the Hedgehog 4 shouldn't be its biggest priority going forward. The release of the third film in 2024 proved that things are better than ever for the series, and while another sequel is an obvious choice, there is a better path.
