When you think of massively popular first-person shooters, your mind most likely goes straight to Call of Duty. There was a time in which your mind may have gone to Battlefield, which was considered a true Call of Duty competitor, but after a few underwhelming titles and disappointing decisions regarding the game's multiplayer, the series isn't quite as popular as it once used to be.
