Spider-Man is recognized as a friendly neighborhood superhero for a reason, and a big part of that reason is that he doesn't use guns. Spider-Man doesn't kill people with firearms; he simply takes them down with his enhanced speed and strength before webbing them up for the authorities. At least, that's the version of Peter Parker that Marvel Comics fans are used to seeing.
