Bugonia, the new film from director Yorgos Lanthimos, doesn't leave its audience in the lurch about much. The story, adapted from a 2003 South Korean film called Save the Green Planet!, follows Teddy (Jesse Plemons) as he and his cousin Don (Aidan Delbis) abduct Michelle Fuller (Emma Stone), a pharmaceutical company's high-profile CEO. The conspiracy-minded Teddy is convinced that Fuller is actually an alien who has been secretly working to destroy the planet.
