Wicked: For Good's awards campaign has a new reason to celebrate. On December 8, the Golden Globe nominations were announced, and the film made appearances in multiple categories. Notably, stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande scored nominations in Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture, respectively. According to Variety, Erivo even made history as the first Black actress with two nominations in that Musical or Comedy category, having also been nominated for Wicked last year.
