As fans count down the days to the Lantern Rite Festival, it seems like this year's festivities have come with much more than the usual slew of in-game awards, as Genshin Impact's anime just dropped a surprise new update. First announced back on September 16, 2022, it has been well over three years since Genshin Impact revealed its so-called long-term project in collaboration with Ufotable.
